Self Help, Inc. (Self Help) will launch the redesigned and enhanced Los Alamos Mental Health website on October 10, which is World Mental Health Day. The website was originally created by Self Help and the United Way of Northern New Mexico in 2016 to promote access to mental health resources for the Los Alamos community. It continues to serve as a central hub for mental health information and provides a list of local therapists. Self Help collaborated with the Los Alamos County Social Services Department on this project as it aligns with the County’s Comprehensive Health Plan.
The updated platform offers a more user-friendly experience, featuring improved navigation, fresh content, and valuable resources aimed at fostering community well-being and mental health awareness. Whether you are looking for resources on mental health education, community support, or looking for a local therapist, our new website makes it easier than ever to access important mental health information.
We invite you to explore the improvements when we unveil the new platform on Thursday, October 10. This launch is part of our ongoing dedication to supporting individuals and communities in leading healthier lives. This project was funded in part by a grant from Con Alma Health Foundation.
