Whether struggling with a temporary life stressor or a chronic illness, many of us find ourselves in need of mental health support at some point in our lives. If you are wondering where to find assistance and services in Los Alamos, we can help!

Self Help Los Alamos :: Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month

In partnership with the United Way, Self Help manages the Los Alamos Mental Health Access website. We are honored to be able to connect community members to mental health providers and resources. Visit the website to find someone who can help you on your journey toward mental wellness.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

If you are experiencing an emotional or substance-related crisis and need to talk to someone to immediately, call the 24/7 New Mexico Crisis and Access Line at 1-855-662-7474, or call/text 988.

If you are struggling and need a compassionate ear to provide listening support, call the New Mexico Peer-to-Peer Warmline at 1-855-466-7100. A Certified Peer Support Worker is waiting to take your call from 7 am to 11:30 pm, texts from 6 pm to 11 pm, every day.

Be good to yourself and remember, you are not alone.
